Ministry Minded Mission: Stay the Course and Finish Well

Serving in ministry is a privilege, but the journey will come with trials, discouragement, and seasons of exhaustion. In this closing episode of the Ministry Minded Mission series on Dear Christian Women, we’ll be reminded through God’s Word that no matter what challenges we face, we are called to stay the course, remain faithful, and finish well.

The places where Jesus has brought healing, freedom, and restoration into our lives can become the very places He calls us to minister to others. We are not only called to serve in ministry but to be the mission field for Christ, allowing Him to work through us to reach a broken world.

As we walk through trials and seasons of uncertainty, may we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, remain rooted in His Word, and trust the Holy Spirit to sustain us. Ministry is not about striving in our own strength; it is about faithfully fulfilling the calling God has placed on our lives and continuing to build His Kingdom for His glory.

The mission is not finished because the journey gets difficult. Stay the course, fulfill the calling, and finish well.

What happens when abuse, rejection, abandonment, self-harm, an eating disorder, and addiction leave you feeling completely broken?

For Megan Vermillion, what looked like a life falling apart became the beginning of God rebuilding her.

In this powerful testimony on Dear Christian Women, Megan shares her journey through abuse, rejection, abandonment, an eating disorder, self-harm, and eventually addiction. Her struggle with addiction ultimately led her to the doors of Adult & Teen Challenge Oklahoma, where she encountered Jesus and began a journey of healing, freedom, and restoration.

Megan’s story is a powerful reminder that what the enemy meant to destroy, God can redeem. She discovered that she was not too broken, too far gone, or beyond God’s reach. In Christ, she found freedom from addiction and began learning what it truly means to be healed and rebuilt by Him.

Today, Megan is pursuing a future ministry of her own, with a heart to reach others who are struggling in the same places she once was to offer hope, share her testimony, and most importantly, help others come to know Jesus.

You are not broken beyond repair. God can rebuild what has been shattered.

Come hear Megan’s powerful testimony of redemption, healing, freedom, and what happens when Jesus changes everything.
