My mom and I talk about how I am learning to slow down and release the hustle. Returning to that childhood rhythm of doing things at your own pace.

I especially love listening to my mom and me giggle and make fun of ourselves with a healthy dose of self-awareness.

We don’t all get two good parents, and I feel eternally grateful to have gotten one amazing one.

My mom was with me through my whole journey of self-embrace, self-discovery, so it feels like a privilege that she would share her reflections (especially since she didn't want to be recorded!)
