    I Am a Wild One: Michele Vreeland on Music, Healing, and Finding Freedom (166) What if healing begins by reconnecting with your inner child, spending time in nature, and remembering that you were never meant to face life alone? In this heartfelt episode of Little Give, Cindy Witteman sits down with singer, songwriter, energy healer, and wild horse advocate Michele Vreeland. Michele opens up about her personal trauma healing journey and how music became a powerful way for her to process difficult emotions and regulate her nervous system. By embracing a body, mind, and spirit approach, she discovered practices that helped her reconnect with herself and inspired her to create resources that may support others along their own wellness journeys. She also introduces Serenity Sessions, a ninety minute immersive experience combining original music, guided meditation, lighting, and sensory elements. Michele created the experience to give participants an opportunity to feel calm, centered, and more connected to themselves. Michele explains the deeper meaning behind I Am a Wild One. Growing up with food insecurity, she often found nourishment in the fruit and plants growing around her California community. Years later, learning about wild foods helped her rediscover the comfort, healing, and abundance that can be found in nature. Today, “the wild one” represents both the natural world around her and the inner child within her who deserves freedom, compassion, and care. Her Little Give is beautifully simple: Notice the needs around you and help when you can. Bring in an elderly neighbor’s trash bins, call a friend you have not spoken to in years, sit beside someone who feels alone, or offer your time without expecting anything in return. Sometimes simply being present can help someone feel supported during an incredibly difficult season. Michele also shares her passion for protecting America’s wild horses and the public lands they call home. Through her song “Wild Horse” and her Wild Horse Bundle, she uses music, affirmation cards, and educational resources to encourage others to learn about wild horse preservation. A portion of the bundle’s proceeds supports Saving America’s Horses through the Wild For Life Foundation.
