We discuss:* How did land markets work before the Land Acquisition Act 2013?* What does an ideal land market look like?* Rural-Urban misclassification* What was the goal for the 2013 Land Act?* Land Acquisition from a Public Finance perspective* Different models of acquisition* Acquiring government land* Amravati model* Issues with land use* Court litigation around land* Land Titling and Insurance* Policy recommendationsNote: Puliyabaazi is now available on YouTube with video.Subscribe to Puliyabaazi Print Magazine Here: https://www.puliyabaazi.in/p/puliyabaazi-magazineRead more:Anirudh Burman’s research work: hereRelated Episodes:Why is land so costly in India?
