Not for Christians

Good ideas to start...but foul langauge, poor writing and WAY too much evolutionary "theory". Can't keep listening. Pass on this is you are a Christian.

No moderation here

This book is full of advice for the narcissist that has endless time to cater to every single feeling their body has. Save yourself the read - basic message: at least 1 hour exercise every single day, eat nuts and kale w no fast food ever, never a French fry, play word games for the brain and stay connected w friends and family. There, you read it!

Brilliant, funny kick-in-the-pants writing!

I stumbled upon this book in early January which is sort of the perfect time. The writing is crisp and the narration is excellent. The narrators do a great job and one of them consistently got me to laugh... which is good because there's a lot of prescriptive advice here. I will be making changes based on this book.

Life Changing

This is one of the best "self-help" books I have ever read. I hesitate to put that label on it because it truly is in a category of its own. I couldn't put it down and now that I've finished, I'm ordering a hard copy and recommending to all my friends and family (even my teen and colleged aged kids!) I'm going to do my best to stay 50 until I go over the waterfall.....I hope you join me!!

gets you moving

inspirational. I didn't care for the reader for Henry, honestly they hurt my ears. being that it was a second edition I expected a bit more revision example there are so many new type of heart monitors than what are referred here. Skip the chapter on 2

Excellent information and an easy listen.

I'm a physical therapist and generally a sceptic reading wellness advice. There is a great deal of good information in this book for me but I think it will seem a bit too demanding to inspire a lot of people. Great mix of story telling and medical advice. I am doing this program now and feel motivated and stronger. I have shared the book with many friends who are embarking on this challenge with me. Well worth the 12 hour listen.

Love the updated/new chapters

Great book with good reminders on how to live the last 1/3 of your life well. It is amazing how much say we have in that!

great listen. definitely worthwhile

I highly recommend if you're in your forties fifties sixties and beyond. Gives hope and explains how to maintain your activity physically emotionally and nutritionally.

Life changing

Shunned the premise of this book for a couple years. That was stupid. I have listened to this book twice now and it has improved my life inch by inch, foot by foot, and yard by yard. I fully expect many extra, enjoyable miles if I keep it up. I highly recommend embracing the simple tenets promoted by Chris and Harry. It will change your life.

Excellent, useful, inspiring

A very informative, challenging work, well told. The authors mix important health science with a fun, in your face challenging style. I laughed a number of times and will choose to live a bit differently because of what I read.
