 Water for People, Not for Profit was a Panel Discussion at the Boston Social Forum. The panel featured spirited presentations from Mary Evelyn Tucker of the Forum on Religion and Ecology; Maureen Taylor of the Michigan Welfare Rights Organization; and Barbara Garson, author of Money Makes the World Go Round: One Investor Tracks Her Cash Through the Global Economy, From Brooklyn to Bangkok and Back. Arnie Alpert of AFSC's New Hampshire Office chaired the panel.

This discussion was recorded on July 23, 2004, at Healey Library at the University of Massachusets at Boston.

This audio also features Barbara Garson's talk during the opening plenary of the 2004 Socialst Scholars Conference, which was recorded on March 12, 2004, at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City.
