Oliver is a lonely boy trying to take care of his ailing grandfather after the death of his grandmother, Effie. She was the glue that held their little family together, but now they aren't doing well financially, that's why he takes a job at a nearby farm in Starlight, Indiana.
Jacobi is an Amish farm boy as pure and innocent as the summer day is long. When he and Oliver meet, they become fast friends, but there's something stronger than friendship brewing between them.
When Jacobi's grandfather finds out about the boy's forbidden love, he threatens to disown Jacobi; unless he agrees to change his ways and become straight. Meanwhile, Oliver has problems of his own and when his grandfather passes away suddenly, he's left to fend for himself.
Can two lost boys find the love that brought them together and survive the storms of life, or will the moments they shared be lost forever under the Starlight sky? Join best-selling author, Daniel Elijah Sanderfer for this heart-wrenching coming of age story about young love, pain, and life.
