This performance was the original inspiration and seed that became God Said Ha!. This classic performance of Julia's first story about her brother's cancer captures all the urgency and inspiration of Un-Cabaret's early years. Raw emotion and comic grace came together in the right room with the right audience at the right time and created a perfect storm of spontaneous comic storytelling.
JULIA SWEENEY launched her career by playing Pat on Saturday Night Live. She has gone on to write and star in acclaimed one-person shows, including God Said Ha!, In the Family Way, and Letting Go of God, all developed at the Un-Cabaret.
