あらすじ・解説
Story 3 of 13 in the novel Dead Man's Touch.
Adam Kluteski (Klutch) escorts his girlfriend, Corra Whitmer, to what he believes is a hoax - a werewolf initiation ritual. The couple soon find themselves running for their lives. A savage betrayal and some quick thinking leave Klutch behind bars at the local police station. Two members of a top secret DARPA branch, Zane Newton and Earlham (no last name), pose as FBI agents and lead the investigation into Corra's disappearance. The search unearths a horrifying plot to increase the werewolf population and expose it to the unsuspecting public.
