With the curse broken, the Prince of Envy is finally free to get his revenge. His scheme requires the assistance of Camilla Antonius, a talented gallery owner and artist. Camilla's skills are needed to help him access a stolen memory Envy believes was painted into an illuminated manuscript that his spies claim is currently being housed in a goddess-run temple on the Shifting Isles.
Camilla's knowledge of art history makes her the best choice for the job, but-despite his allure and how intrigued she is by him-Camilla wants nothing to do with the demon prince, or the Seven Circles after seeing the chaos that follows them. Envy has been plotting for ages and came prepared. He reveals he purchased her father's debts and her assistance is the price he's asking for to clear them. If Camilla refuses to help, he vows to ruin her family, take her gallery, and turn them out on the streets.
Backed into a corner, Camilla is forced to accept the devil's bargain and they soon embark on a journey that may be as dangerous for their hearts as it is for their world.

批評家のレビュー
The Seven Circles have never been so HOT as when Prince Envy meets his match in every way! But, the final game has begun, and it could cost him his court. Will Envy be able to master the game and his heart, or will he lose it all?
Secrets, spice, and a story I could not put down! This was one of my favorite reads for the year!
Intrigue, danger, and fan-yourself romance all wrapped up in a magical world. Throne of the Fallen is a bold, unputdownable adventure that brings the smolder. I can't wait for more!
Delicious and intoxicating
Luscious and dark
An intoxicating, tightly plotted feast for the senses
If there's one thing I know about Kerri Maniscalco, it's that she always delivers
Throne of the Fallen is a wish-fulfilment book for Maniscalco fans. This is the kind of page-turning adult romantasy that leave you wanting more
The romance is absolutely rife with tension, passion, and my favourite of all feelings - anticipation. Delving into this story feels like reading a riddle. You start off confident that you know every twist and turn the book is going to take, but then you keep trying to solve it and come up empty
