Most people have beautiful dreams deep inside - the things they would like to have, the relationships they'd love to enjoy, and the wellness and well-being that would help them express their best, in every way. But often those dreams lie buried inside us. Hidden by fear or unworthiness or a lack of awareness of what could be. Asking is the only language to which the Universe can deliver a solution, understanding, illumination, or plan.

New York Times best seller
“We Wore What's Danielle Bernstein Is Giving Us the Modern-Day Sex and the City With New Memoir" (E!)
A revealing (in more ways than one) tell-all from Long Island girl-turned-international fashion influencer, designer, CEO, and tech entrepreneur Danielle Bernstein, the creative genius behind the hit style platform @WeWoreWhat.
Danielle Bernstein spent her youth shopping at discount department stores, getting boozy in suburban backyards, and proposing marriage to every boy she dated. By age 19, she was a college dropout living in a West Village shoebox with three roommates and only six months to prove that her blog, @WeWoreWhat, could become a full blown career...or else board the train back to her mom's house.
Flash forward 10 years. Danielle is more than a famed influencer with over two million followers. She's also a bonafide business woman - a CEO, tech founder, and fashion designer whose living a dream lifestyle that includes all-expense-paid luxury travel to Paris and Positano, skipping the velvet rope, and controlling her own destiny.
Despite these successes, Danielle has never been your typical play-by-the-rules fashionista. She disrupted the fashion industry using her own playbook - one that she's finally ready to share with you, her listeners.
This Is Not a Fashion Story is the down and dirty tale of how a Long Island-born teenager became one of the most recognizable names in fashion. It's a story that proves success isn't about a college degree or how rich your parents are. It's about trusting your gut, knowing when to take risks, and fighting to get what you want in life, love, and business. But above all, it's the story of how a young girl made in the concrete jungle that is New York City - and how you can too.

Painful to listen to
I was interested in learning more about how the author grew her businesses and personal growth she had to go through in order to reach her level of success, but instead I had to listen to hours of cliches and basic NYC dating stories. No depth or substance, couldn’t even finish it.

A fashion influencer story
It could be an interesting book for those who follow @weworewhat and her founder Danielle - author of the book - on social medial or for people with blogger or influencer aspirations. I enjoyed most of it, specially the little part about the behind the scenes of marketing deals on IG and creation of product lines. Have to confess I had no idea who she was until I listened to this book that I chose just because of the tittle. I really admire her desire to achieve big goals and work hard for them. I now follow her company on IG ;)

An inspiring story in the most amazing city on earth
Absolutely loved the book, especially because it was narrated by Danielle herself. I feel like I have a special connection with her because she’s probably the only influencer I follow, and I adore her honesty, work ethics and incredible big heart.
Even if you don’t follow Danielle, this book could be read by anyone and take away tips about being a woman entrepreneur in today’s world, a strong leader and someone who follows their passions. And of course, her story is based in New York and just because of this it’s worth reading the book. So inspiring!

Wow just wow
Last summer I moved manhattan for an internship... for who else? Well Macy’s ! I had no idea who Danielle Bernstein was before this (I live in Miami, and although it’s a big city.. the fashion here is basically the more you show the better) NYC is another world when it comes to fashion! So, naturally. Weworewhat caught my attention, only because my co workers praised everything this girl would wear. I became obsessed ! This Miami girl wanted to dress like Danielle Bernstein. I must admit, considering Danielle and I are the same age... she’s accomplished SO MUCH in her 27 years of life. Naturally I HAD to read this book. I did buy the book and read 11 chapters. But then, I decided to deep clean my 1/1 Miami condo & listen to the audio book. Wow ! I was laughing, tearing and would instantly get upset when she told stories about ex boyfriends. (When they were assholes). Listening to her voice made the story was even better ! 100/100 def recommend

Amazing book that everyone should read!
I have followed Danielle from the beginning of her Instagram career. I have seen her highs and lows in life. I remember thinking that I wanted more details about certain situations because I felt a strong connection to her. She is so strong and determined. Not only in her business life but personal life. As cheesy as it sounds, I always would say to myself, “ What would Danielle do?” if I was stuck on something in my life. I never thought that I would get the chance to meet her but on my one year anniversary my boyfriend and I booked a trip to Italy. I remember waking up and seeing that she was literally in the same area as me... I couldn’t believe it! I thought to myself that the chances of actually running into her were slim to none. While browsing in the Prada store on the island of Capri I heard a familiar sound coming from the front of the store. I couldn’t believe my eyes, it was actually her. I am a very shy person but for some reason I marched right over to her without any hesitation. I don’t even think I was speaking full sentences because I was so shocked it was her. I asked for a selfie and little did she know that changed my whole life. She had given me so much confidence. I couldn’t express everything into words on how much she had positively changed my life. This book was a fabulous read into understanding the amazing empire that is We Wore What. Thank you Danielle for being such an amazing role model. Xoxo SB

Disappointing
This book was not an inspirational tale of success- it was a bragging recount of how she hooked up with the “hottest guy at summer camp/her internship/senior guy in college/hottest guy on the yacht” and how she used privilege/name dropping/connections to be where she is today. I really thought I would get to see a deeper side to Danielle and more of her humanness and vulnerability but she’s exactly what you see on instagram.

Life changing
I’ve been following Danielle for a while now and she has always given me motivation to try new things and do things that your passionate about and I’ve always admired her drive and motivation. This book really is a testament to how incredibly hard she has worked and how far she has come. Whilst listening to it in her own voice it really took me on a journey through her life and also inspired me to make some positive changes to my outlook and motivation. She is an account you don’t just follow to see how amazing she looks but you join a community lead by a beautiful inspirational leader who invests so much in to her community that she has built from nothing. I can’t say thank you enough to her for inspiring me and so many. This book is just the beginning for Danielle and I am so happy that I get to be apart of that journey. I am from London and was waiting for the book to come out and I sat through the whole book in 1 sitting !!!!!!!
