このコンテンツについて
There is a current onslaught of lies and misinformation spread through various resources. The ability to disseminate false intelligence or slant the truth to benefit oneself is staggering. People can now use news media, create websites, manipulate social media, and disclose personal rumors to reap the rewards of the spread of negative information. Businesses convince customers to change their behavior, making them billions in profits. Political organizations stretch the truth to create hysteria or influence voters to empower their candidates. Even churches have now encouraged people to ignore certain aspects of society so they can benefit from the resources of their members. As countries bend to the whim of the powerful, it was two thousand years ago when John wrote a letter to encourage a group of early Christians at a burgeoning church in a land that distrusted this new sect of believers.
The Truth is a Biblical study of the Book of 2nd John. This single-chapter epistle is filled with wisdom to encourage new and seasoned believers to acquire truthfulness. This book covers grace, love, being weary of deceivers, and living a life that God meant for you to walk. The seven lessons in this book break down 2nd John to allow all who read it to study, absorb, and apply the written knowledge carefully. The questions are meant to connect the ideals shared by John with many other books in the Bible, while also making the Holy words personal and applicable in the reader’s life.
Although we live in a society bent on propagating lies for selfishness and greed, The Truth is the book that will help give us confidence and a foundation in standing on the solid Word of God. It is a beacon of hope in a world filled with misinformation.
