‘Who hasn't dreamed about being transported back to Regency England? Nobody I want to be friends with. I had an absolute blast reading this funny and touching novel, discovering how Etta coped with living in a time long before M&S knickers were invented, and how Hetty coped with … everything. I cackled out loud in places, particularly when Etta sat down at the piano and belted out Hozier to an increasingly horrified audience of ladies and gentlemen' Emma Orchard
