Josephine “Joey” Sheffield returns to her hometown of Cornish, Alabama, after a 15-year absence for what she believes is the funeral of a sexually abusive father that she despised. Shortly after her arrival, Joey becomes suspicious about the true reason she was lured home when evidence, and strange occurrences inside Sheffield Manor lead her to believe that not only is her father, Macarthur Sheffield, not dead, but he’s still living inside the house.
