Father Richard arrives in the remote parish of Mossford to escape a nascent affection that could destroy his calling. When Julian suffers a serious accident, Richard finds himself at his bedside through ICU and rehabilitation, navigating duty, affection, and the scrutiny of a Church wary of appearances.
