Herbal medicine is often overlooked as a treatment option. However, herbal medicine has a long history—much longer than modern medicine. If you consider the history of herbal medicine—some Egyptian and Chinese records indicate the use of herbal medicine more than 3,000 years ago—it’s no surprise that some consider it a safer and more reliant option for treating their ailments than modern medicine.
