Extraordinary
I received a free code to listen to this book and I did so willingly Anything to do with zombies was a no go for me... then I decided to listen to this book and suddenly everything changed. I was so intrigued by everything they had to go through and I couldn't stop listening. it was a great eye opener and I enjoyed it immensely exceptional narration by Catherine Anne and I must say Dianah Brock has become one of my favorite writers

Zombies!
I am a bit ambivalent about zombies in general. However, I liked the main character in this book, and the fact it wasn’t too gory ( by zombie standards). There is action. There’s a love story. There is drama. Somehow, though, I found the main character didn’t add up. She was strong and in control... but her father turns up and within hours she is doing as she’s told. No real reunion, even. And don’t get me started on the I love him but I can’t side of it. In the end? I wanted to like the characters more than I actually liked them. I enjoyed the action and the premise. So, like every other zombie book: it’s about the action and the guns, and the running away from zombies. Don’t look for anything too much deeper and you’ll really enjoy this book! I received this audiobook for free in exchange for a review.

Love it!
I am not inclined towards Zombies and Apocalypse books, but I loved how Amber and her community maintained compassion while still having to be a hard nosed fighters protecting her family and a large community! Awesome job by Catherine for keeping compassion in her voice even while in tense situations. I would love to read any follow-up Dianah may have planned.

Amazing Zombie Story!!!
If you like The Walking Dead, then you will love this book! Dianah Brock is one of my favorite authors. I have all of her books. I also love the narrator for this book. Catherine Anne brings it to life for me. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Apocalypse with perspective
I enjoyed this look at how a Mother steps up to the plate in the middle of a bad situation. The author was the tale that incorporated many elements that I love including families overcoming hard obstacles. It was fast-paced and I imagined would be an easy read on the page. Well, the narrator's voice was soothing it was perhaps too much so. It was easy to hear the struggle with the accent she was trying to portray. However, I had to stop several times to avoid nodding off as there is a rather hypnotic quality in this narration. I recommend this for readers who like the zombie apocalypse without the focus on the action sequences and more focused on the emotional and social dynamics of the situation.

Wish it was longer
I really enjoyed this story, The readers voice was really nice and made listening enjoyable. I just wish the story had been longer. I want to hear more about the characters.

Enjoyable listen
It took me a while to get into the story. I didn't like the narrator's voice, she talked too slowly and souded bored. Once I could ignore the voice I enjoyed the story,. it was suspenseful and had a bit of romance going on too.

A Bit Too Slow
The premise of this story is fun. A woman who wrote a guide book to surviving the zombie apocalypse suddenly finds herself amidst that very scenario. It turns out her strategies are sound, and she becomes the leader of her community of survivors. The pace of the story, and the narration, is too slow. It reminded me of some of the Walking Dead episodes that are just so boring you feel cheated out of an hour that week. Fortunately, the next episode is better, keeping you hooked on the series. Well, that is something like what happens throughout this story. It is painfully slow at times, and then things pick up for a bit. Overall it is a good enough audiobook, but not something I will listen to again.

Not for me!
I just couldn't get into this story! I tried several times to get into this but found my attention drifting. Maybe it was the awful narration...also having not listened to the beginning of this series I found myself trying to figure out what was what! I would not recommend spending a credit on this.

Sacrifice and love
The Fall is a good book that has everything from honor to zombies. I just admit I do not read many zombie apocalypse books but I found this one intriguing and addictive. The book is well written and imaginative. I truly felt like I was apart of the book. I highly recommend this book if you like books about the zombie apocalypse. I received this book at my request and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Brilliantly written and narrated.
I really enjoyed this book, the story was very well written, and the narrator did a brilliant job. Very sad when it ended. Great character building, and loved the way people interact with each other. The author and narrator are so well suited, the book flowed so well, and I found it very hard to turn the book off. Always a good sign. Highly recommend the book.

The Fall - Fell
Typical zombie story. Amber a self-published author takes responsibility for the survivors of a village against the undead. The narration is terrible Catherine Anne speaks just above a whisper in a monotone voice. All the voices are the same. She spoiled the book as it was putting me to sleep. I was given this book free to review, sorry it couldn't have been better
