Nothing has ever returned from the Eradamis Sector.

For decades, the region has remained sealed off by the Alliance Council. Ships vanish there. Probes disappear without a trace. Entire expeditions are swallowed by the unstable void beyond its boundary. To pilots and freight captains, it has another name: The Demon Zone.

When the Alliance Research Vessel Axiom becomes the first ship in decades to cross into Eradamis, the mission is meant to change everything. Instead, contact is lost, and the Axiom joins the long list of vessels that never came back.

Dr Anya Chastepol always believed the sector should remain untouched. After losing her father to a catastrophic mission near the black hole Solkara Minor, she built her life around certainty, caution, and the belief that some frontiers exist for a reason. But Anya’s fiancé is aboard the Axiom. And now she fears she has lost him, too. So, when the advanced military vessel ANV Echelon is dispatched to uncover the truth behind the Axiom’s disappearance, Anya is pulled into the mission against her better judgement. What begins as a rescue operation soon becomes something far more disturbing.
