John Garrett and Alvin Silverton spend their days drinking too much beer and smoking what most would consider too much pot. Life for the best friends has remained simple until a world pandemic strikes, wiping out most of humanity.
John and Alvin grab as much beer and weed as they can and run off to Colorado to hide from a collapsing civilization and try to rebuild a new world. The two men pick up some friends along the way and begin evading riots, bands of roving killers, a maniacal U.S. Major and people who want to smoke too much of John's weed. The struggles of a demanding new life allow both men to become instrumental in leading the future of humanity but this time, doing it right.
