概要
When Nancy Erickson disappeared after a seventy-foot fall into a remote ravine, her family feared the worst. The odds were stacked against her.She was injured. She was alone. She was diabetic. And she was without insulin. As darkness settled across northwestern Illinois, an extraordinary search effort began. Local first responders, rescue personnel, neighbors, church members, family, and friends joined together in the search.Among them was a high-tech Amish Mennonite rescue team using thermal imaging technology to search terrain that was difficult to access on foot.At the same time, prayer requests spread far beyond the local community. Hundreds, then thousands of people across the country began praying. What followed was a rescue few expected. But The Cliff is not ultimately a story about a rescue. It is the story of John and Nancy Ericksons lifelong journey of learning to trust God through illness, hardship, uncertainty, and blessing. The faith that sustained them on one extraordinary night had been built over decades of walking with Christ.©2025 Indie Christian Book (P)2026 Indie Christian Book キリスト教 キリスト教徒の生活 スピリチュアルな成長・霊感
