The saga continues in the spellbinding, mythical sequel to 'The Seer of Midgard'.

It’s been six moons since Aslak won the throne and the royal seer Snehild Greywolf walks a perilous line between loyalty and ambition. King Aslak’s ascent to the throne is overshadowed by an all-consuming paranoia that enemies surround him. His reign devolves into tyranny, sowing violence and mistrust throughout the kingdom.

Meanwhile, Roald, Aslak’s quiet and honour-bound twin, is pulled reluctantly into a contest that could shape the realm’s future. Simmering beyond the palace politics, exiled shieldmaiden Berghild forges her own path among brutal outlaws, while Eldbjørg, a disgraced noble turned thrall, schemes to reclaim her lost name, and exact vengeance for her chains.

When Snehild is struck down by sinister runic magic, her journey becomes one of peril and discovery. Forced to leave Himlinge behind, she ventures into the unknown: through the unrelenting storms of Niflheim and the shadowed depths of Helheim. There, amidst the spectral whispers of vengeful gods, she uncovers the deeper truths of her power and destiny.

Brimming with political intrigue, prophecy, and divine fury, ‘The Call of Helheim,’ the much-anticipated sequel to the epic Norse fantasy series, is a must-read for fans of Ten Shao’s ‘The Poet Empress’, Samantha Shannon’s ‘Roots of Chaos’, and HBO’s ‘House of the Dragon’.
