Ever since medical school, Dr. Christiane Northrup has been guided by an essential truth about the way our bodies, minds, and souls are intertwined. It's the same truth Edgar Cayce expressed in this famous formula: The spirit is life. The mind is the builder. The physical is the result. When we don't grasp this - when we view our bodily well-being in isolation - life can devolve into constant worry about our health and constant battling to make our bodies "behave".

Why are we only taught about male archangels, and why has no one ever questioned this phenomenon? Claire Stone has communicated directly with angels since she was a child and therefore knows that the Archeiai, the female archangels, are really twin flames to the male archangels. The collective suppression of the divine feminine has led humanity to believe that there were no female angels of any kind, but as we start to re-awaken to the wisdom of the Mother Goddess, the veils are lifted, allowing us to reclaim our lost spiritual heritage.

Yes, you read that right. It says prove. The nine experiments, each of which can be conducted with absolutely no money and very little time expenditure, demonstrate that spiritual principles are as dependable as gravity, as consistent as Newton's laws of motion.

あらすじ・解説
"For the last 20 years I've dedicated my personal and professional life to the importance of self-care by teaching from my own experience," writes Cheryl Richardson. "In the past, I've sacrificed my health and my relationships for work, given to others at the expense of my own needs, and watched my dreams slip through the cracks of a busy life. As a result, I've learned a lot about what it takes to put an end to the madness.... From years of personal experience, as well as coaching great men and women, I've come to understand that selfishness leads to selflessness. When we care deeply for ourselves, we naturally begin to care for others - our families, our friends, our greater global community, and the environment - in a healthier and more effective way. We tell the truth. We make choices from love instead of guilt and obligation. And we soon realize that we're all connected and that our individual actions affect a greater whole."
This updated edition of Cheryl's best-selling handbook The Art of Extreme Self-Care brings her message home to listeners with a new section about forming and running a successful support group, as well as updated resources so listeners stay inspired and motivated. Her practical, action-oriented program outlines 12 strategies to transform your life one month at a time, each one challenging you to alter one behavior that's blocking your path. Chapters include "End the Legacy of Deprivation", "Find Your Passion", "The Absolute No List", and "Does That Anger Taste Good?" (Hint: it really doesn't.)

What a kick in the pants
I went to a psychic for a reading and the first thing she told me is why are you not caring for yourself! I told her everything I was doing and she replied back you are not taking care of yourself! Then I receive an email from Hay House with this book in it and I decided it's time to read so I understand what it is I am not doing. I read through the book and immediately found many areas where I am taking care of others but not taking care of myself! Reading through the book and reading the book difficult conversations previously I began having those conversations with people. I explained to people that I have no problems helping them out when I have time. I had to explain to other people that there will no longer be two-hour car drives home. I also learned to avoid conversations that I just didn't need to be part of. I've also stopped playing peacemaker if a grown woman at work wants to throw a temper tantrum like a two-year-old child let her! I simply have begun to walk away.
I loved this book so much I have been hiding it to friends to read! I strongly suggest you read this book cover to cover. Then go through it again monthly to get the most impact! Plus Hay House has a great online course you can take as well!

First Edition is Better
I LOVED the first edition of this book - it changed my life. When I learned that Cheryl Richardson was updating it, I was so excited to hear what new bits of wisdom she had to offer. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed. First off, I found that the things that I felt were most powerful were minimized or removed all together from this version, and it felt like there was very little new content. She added some of the typical warnings about social media and such, but none of the new content was really new or at all insightful for me. If you already read the first edition, I wouldn't recommend investing in this one. If you are really interested, I would say that it is worth your while to look for the first edition - I believe you will get more out of it.

Love Cheryl, fantastic book!
Fantastic book. I bought the Kindle edition and audio book. I was first aware of Cheryl’s work through The Tapping Solution. Her personality was so warm & welcoming. Sadly it has taken me so long to actually read any of her books and I so wished I bothered to read them years ago. This book goes beyond the description of fantastic, it’s life changing in one of the most important aspects of our lives - our selves. If we’d manage to learn this in our junior years we would have all grow up as much more balanced, mental healthy adults. Hears hoping future generations have that opportunity. 6 stars!
