What can you actually do to become happier and live a better life?
This is the question posed by an overwhelming number of self-help books and psychological therapies out there. But, at their core, are there really that many self-development strategies available? After spending years analyzing more than a hundred self-help books and more than a dozen therapies, academic Jeremy Stevenson and entrepreneur Spencer Greenberg propose that the answer is 'no'.
There are simply twelve effective strategies that underlie all of self-improvement.
This audiobook offers listeners a single source to learn the twelve core strategies underpinning self-improvement during the authors’ extensive analysis of the field, along with step-by-step instructions on how to apply each strategy. Interwoven with fascinating stories about the originators and popularizers of these techniques, this audiobook shows you what positive steps are within your direct control to take when it comes to improving your own day-to-day life.
