1863. Mutilated bodies have been found all over Colorado. The papers say that this is the work of the Colorado Axe Men. Allison Enderson and her husband Jesse are unfortunate enough to have a run-in with these serial killers. After they carve her face into a permanent smile, Allison goes hunting after these men to bring them to justice. Along the way, she'll travel with militiamen, vigilantes, soldiers, and mountain men.
