Dive headfirst into the urban symphony of "Smelling the Taste of Sound", a riveting memoir of a newly diagnosed, neurodivergent trainee lawyer. Her sensory issues are compounded by the sirens that punctuate the daily grind of a tough, inner-city law firm. Amidst encounters with eccentric characters and surreal personalities, our protagonist navigates the chaos and unorthodox office dynamics with comical observations and resilience.
Written with humour and searing honesty, this book isn't just about life in a law firm; it's an enlightening exploration into the often misunderstood sphere of neurodiversity. The protagonist's experiences serve as a magnifying glass on the struggles and biases faced by neurodivergent people on a daily basis, as their disabilities are largely invisible.
Prepare for an unforgettable journey that invites you to question, empathise and challenge societal perceptions about neurodiversity. It's bold, illuminating and demands to be read because it’s a remarkable story of self-discovery and adjustment which will make you laugh and cry. "Smelling the Taste of Sound" promises a listening experience as compelling as it is enlightening because you’ll see a world few get to encounter.
