This children’s novel takes place in a historic inner city neighborhood on the westside of Atlanta, Georgia. Tyrone is a 16-year-old boy who works at a restaurant. Tyrone’s hard work and dedication to his job allows him to become a supervisor. Tyrone was able to establish credit and buy a car. In many inner city environments in the United States, children are enticed by fast money. While walking to work Tyrone is harassed by children in his neighborhood because he works a job. This is a great book for children to listen to because it shows the true essence of hard work and dedication.
