あらすじ・解説
John Godwin thought his life as a private investigator would be less stressful and heart-breaking than his former career as an EMT, yet ever since he’s opened the doors of his PI firm and started working with the Miami PD, high-profile cases have been drawing him into life and death situations more often than he’d like.
When the police again enlist his aid in investigating a series of unusual, medically-related murders, they suspect a serial killer. But when John discovers that all the men dying are part of a ring of particularly bold child pornographers, he suspects something else entirely: a vigilante.
The police are refusing to investigate the remaining men in the child porn ring, instead focusing their efforts on the killer who has become an overnight folk hero in Miami. John knows something is wrong and that in order to learn the truth and stop the murders, he needs to get to the killer before the cops.
But putting himself in the line of fire may cost him more than he ever expects.
