We are each given a unique set of gifts and talents and they must have been allocated to us with a specific purpose in mind. The secret to living a happy and fulfilled life is to discover what that purpose is.
Shortie the Shetland pony is faced with the same problem. He wants to fit in and feel and useful. He thinks the answer is to find a job. However, after receiving one rejection after another, he feels sad and dejected. He wonders what his purpose for being here really is.
