Shadows at the Edge of Sleep is a haunting collection of thirteen interconnected psychological horror stories set in the fictional New England town of Millbrook, where reality operates by its own unsettling rules.
Each tale follows a different resident or visitor as they encounter the town's unusual properties, from a cartographer whose maps show streets that don't exist, to a security guard who discovers hospital patients that appear only during night shifts, to a substitute teacher whose students seem to know things they shouldn't know.
