あらすじ・解説
Crime-solving duo Geneva Pomolo and Iris Reeves are attending the annual Wrangler’s Hill WonderCon, a convention celebrating all things fantasy and science-fiction. There they hope to meet Bryan Rylance, the handsome (and arrogant) star of the long-running TV series Starman and Sapphire. There are rumors in the press that Bryan and his former co-star, Lucky Mitten, are planning a reunion. So when Lucky’s body is found in a frozen lake on a cold January morning, suspicion naturally falls on the crew of the television series that made her famous. But as Geneva investigates Lucky’s social network, she learns that the deceased had made a number of enemies. A peeping Tom who doesn’t take kindly to Lucky’s rejections. A madwoman who lives in a lighthouse and spends her days plotting revenge for petty snubs. The con artists who run the pub where Lucky worked after retiring from acting. When an old diary falls into Geneva’s possession, she uncovers a truth more disturbing than she could have imagined. She must hasten to stop a killer who is closer and more dangerous than she knows.
