Can I lose my salvation? Am I sinning my salvation away? Does the Bible offer any guarantees that our salvation is secure? Why does it matter to have an assurance of eternal salvation? "How much will God forgive and put up with me? Is it even worth fighting sin or living as a Christian?" If you ever experience this vicious cycle of defeating questions, this book is for you.
Saved for Eternity is a book about the assurance and eternal permanence of believers in Christ's salvation. No, it will not encourage more sinning, but instead, it will make you enjoy a victorious life of joy and peace in Christ and increasing holiness.
In theological terms, it is called the doctrine of eternal security or the doctrine of the perseverance of the saints. The book's first part describes the biblical arguments in favor of eternal security.
The second part answers many controversial objections to this doctrine like the impossibility of renewal (Hebrews 6: 4-6), the willful sin (Hebrews 10: 26), abiding in the vine (John 15: 1-6), the unpardonable sin (Matthew 12: 31-32), free will, apostasy cases in the Bible, divorce and remarriage, and suicide.
