Drenched in movie references from THE SOUND OF MUSIC to CARRIE, the protagonist's journey includes a grocery store clerk who is a dead ringer for Peter Lorre and a bathroom that is decorated floor-to-ceiling in Tarzan memorabilia. This audiobook edition is narrated by the author, Sam Irvin, with guest voice actor Doug Mackie as "Mugsy," the grocery store clerk who sounds like Peter Lorre. The audiobook also features an exclusive Afterword written and read by the author. The "About the Author" section at the conclusion of the book is read by special guest star Julie Brown (EARTH GIRLS ARE EASY, CLUELESS).
