あらすじ・解説
Eleven teenagers thought they were training for the adventure of a lifetime. Nothing could have prepared them for what they'd become.
The idea had been to send an exploration team of high school students to Mars sponsored by Red Rock Inc, a company desperate to colonize the red planet. With no shortage of investors wanting in, it seemed humans were ready to claim Mars as a second home.
But something was happening on the fourth rock from the sun, too otherworldly to explain, too ugly to admit. Younger bodies might be able to withstand it, Nigel thought. And then he sent them as a test and waited to see if he was right.
