Narrator John Sessions inhabits many of Collodi's characters, particularly Pinocchio and Geppetto. His Italian accent couldn't be better, and his timing is spot-on. Pinocchio always has the dear sound of a little kid, even when he's telling lie after lie. The sound effects that Sessions emits also enhance the story. The fire-eater's sneeze is real, the sound of Pinocchio's nose growing is believable, and the fox could lure almost anyone into believing him. Audio is the ideal way to experience Pinocchio.
