For anyone who has never tried to read a book on how to use their new DSLR camera, they may be in for a rough time. Many books are written by photographers who assume everyone has the same knowledge and background. The information is scattered throughout the books. Jargon and acronyms are everywhere, and you will be hard-pressed to find a definition or what to do with them.
That is what makes this book different. It is written for a beginner, as the title suggests. It assumes the listener has some knowledge, maybe even just basic knowledge. But, it is written in a format that follows a sequence of steps necessary to take a great photo.
But, photography does not stop with a photo. This book gives many ideas about how to share and display your photos. It also discusses how to have fun with the art. And, let's face it, photography is an art. And art, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. Photography for Beginners discusses how elements in any scene can be altered for aesthetic purposes. This is a different slant than is shown in many photography books, because art has few boundaries: the possibilities are endless.
