This will be a loving, hilarious tribute, drawing on brand new, in-depth interviews with those who accompanied Paul on that journey, to reveal the man only a few of his closest and most loyal friends really got to know. Originally introduced to Paul by Cilla Black, Prince will revisit the geographical milestones of Paul’s career – from the Royal Vauxhall Tavern via Weatherfield and Lily’s ‘lovely fishing village’ of Birkenhead to the Palladium – to create an informed and insightful portrait of an entertainment giant, drawing on personal experience and the author’s extensive archive, which includes over 100 hours of personal audio recordings with the star.

It will be funny, irreverent and uncover many previously unknown facets to Paul’s life and career, from his lifelong campaigning, to the unfiltered story behind his shock departure from the BBC.
