Operation Deep Dive: A Step into the Past is a blending of fact and fiction. Evelyn "Eve" Black is an undercover FBI special agent, but she’s not a very good one. She often breaks cover, loses her temper, and kills a few too many people.
An envelope arrives at her home and sets Eve on a path to find out who sent it. She must meet up with not only the terrorists from the International Defense Exhibition Conference, but old relationships from her Columbia University and Quantico days as well. All while navigating parenthood and politics. Join Eve as she goes back into her past and reconnects with old friends and old enemies. She doesn’t do this alone; her Weatherman Underground father, her friends, and the town of Tres Piedras, New Mexico, all work together to take down the bad guys; however, their definition of bad guys may not be yours.
Eve is not a hero or villain; she is an ordinary human, dealing with everyday problems. To her, no problem is black and white. She is very comfortable working in the gray zone.
