Mindset is a sprawling, relentlessly ambitious geopolitical thriller that feels less like listening to a novel and more like watching a major international crisis unfold in real time.

Bill Fortin takes the listener deep inside an invisible war being fought through intelligence networks, political institutions, military power and carefully orchestrated deception. From the corridors of Washington to Beijing, Hong Kong, Iran and the Gulf of Oman, the story moves with cinematic intensity, building layer upon layer of conspiracy until the scale of the threat becomes breathtaking.

Many thriller writers can conduct extensive research and convincingly imagine the inner workings of governments, intelligence agencies and military operations. With Mindset, however, there is an unmistakable depth of firsthand knowledge behind the story.
