Sleep is one of the most important but least understood aspects of our life, wellness, and longevity. Until very recently, science had no answer to the question of why we sleep, or what good it served, or why we suffer such devastating health consequences when we don't sleep. Compared to the other basic drives in life - eating, drinking, and reproducing - the purpose of sleep remained elusive.

MEH... way too much RAH RAH RAH, not enough advice
What would have made MONEY Master the Game better?
Less, hard luck stories. we know why we are reading the book, we need advice, not just more reasons to read the book... To me it seemed the only advice was in retirement accounts, very little advice on liquid accounts, real estate etc. Kinda felt like I was just beiing sold on his products that im sure he gets a cut on
What could Tony Robbins have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
It just felt .like an infomercial for his and his friends products. When you tout a book on financial Independence it should incorporate all aspects of that, liquid accounts, real estate, depreciating assets etc.... If he had called this, "Money, master your retirement" it would have been alot more accurate
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
narrator was fine
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from MONEY Master the Game?
you could lose 50% of the hard-luck stories or success stories and it still would have been too much.....
Any additional comments?

Snippets provide great value but too much fluff
This book is packed with useful tidbits and motivation. that said, it's also about building the Tony Robbins "brand". He spends way too much time motivating and saying how good the book and info is, and too little time on the details of the content.
if you are averagely sophisticated in investing this book provides about 15 minutes of super valuable content...that's it for 21 hours... here it is in summary: think long term, Save money, Diversify and be happy with sub market returns to avoid market crashes, explore bonds, TIPS, insurance company annuities and guaranteed return programs... all super safe.
no helpful tips on avoiding the 2016 crash...
very disappointed that the much marketed interviews weren't the actual recordings....How can Tony take a 3 hour talk with a legendary person, horde all the content and share just 2 minutes abridged, and call it great?
Tony's voice is harsh, like an old WWF wrestler, and the transition to a professional narrator was strange but welcome
ok book but more motivational for folks that do nothing at all now

The longest infomercial ever...
...and a boring one at!
Nothing very wrong with the information in this book, but nothing new either. Despite the incessant announcement that you're about to learn a secret only TR's billionaire friends share, there is nothing here that a mediocre junior financial advisor doesn't know or can't tell you.
The constant name dropping is very annoying as are the inumerous attempts to lead the reader /listener to contact organizations in which TR has a stake or interest and that will "help" you design your perfect financial future.
TR might very well be a genius communicator and one of the best salesman ever. In the field of Finance... well, he is the guy who was successfully sued by Wade Cook by the tune of $655,900.
Finally, I understand it is not easy to read 20 plus hours of what basically is a compilation of dry college textbooks interspersed with sponsors ads, but couldn't the narrator at least pretend he was awake?

95% not spoken by Robbins
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
It's in stark contrast when Tony's voice suddenly changed to Jeremy Bobb's. Jeremy's voice pales in comparison when compared to Tony's in terms of energy, motivation, and congruence. Jeremy's voice just lacks heart and soul. Sadly, Tony only narrated the first and last chapter of this audio book. It's hugely disappointing. I would have given 5 stars if the whole audio book had been narrated by Tony.

Get to the point Tony
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Tony is an exceptional personality - however this audiobook strikes me as a money grubbing bombastic soapbox performance - informing the listener with gusto what he is 'going' to tell you later - By the time he gets to the information (that may have been nuggets at one time) to you - you have have lost interest.
Would you ever listen to anything by Tony Robbins again?
not likely
in my opinion - This is a big pitch to get the reader to signup for 'freedom funds' or tony funds - or something else that Tony has setup to trap or sucker listeners into -
trap or sucker? maybe those are not the correct terms but what do you call it when someone with the clout of Tony Robbins writes a book with accompanying documentation sends you to a entity, company, fiduciary or whatever - and he is obviously getting some financial or other stipend from?
What didn’t you like about Tony Robbins and Jeremy Bobb ’s performance?
Tony's description of his move to Florida makes sense on a financial level - but it saddens the listener when he goes over the top with his braggadocio...
'my wife and I with our 200' foot of ocean frontage - yada yada yada..'
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Admittedly Tony Robbins can pitch a point - he has a knack, a real gift - there may be some nuggets tucked into this - but Tony does a poor job of pitching to the audience in this audiobook - often underestimating the average reader's financial savvy - going far far to in depth into the obvious - other times glossing over information that is of real use -
This audiobook presents itself in an altruistic manner - the reality, sadly, is the opposite
Any additional comments?
Next time - if you really want to 'help' people - and are writing from the heart and not from the perspective of lining your bank accounts - get to the point - forget the tiresome setups - come up with a digest of real information.

Bad Investment of Time!
What would have made MONEY Master the Game better?
Less repetitive hype and more relevant investing information. After the first two hours of hype your first lesson will be, wait for it, the benefits of compounding ... ooh ah.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Some good trashy fiction that will erase this experience from my memory!
What didn’t you like about Tony Robbins and Jeremy Bobb ’s performance?
I initially liked Tony's energy and enthusiasm but ended up feeling more like he's a snake oil salesmen.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Mind-numbing disappointment.
Any additional comments?
This was my first Tony Robbins experience. Of course I've heard of Tony, and his success, which is the only reason why I didn't delete this book after the second hour (and yes, that's my second regret regarding this book).

Very bad!
Any additional comments?
I was really looking forward to this audio book since Tony Robbin's book, Awaken the Giant Within is probably my favorite book of all time. This book is now my worst book of all time.
The problems I had with this book are:
#1 Tony Robbins only narrates 2 chapters in the book, and the other narrator is not very good. The last chapter which is about an hour long is Tony Robbins asking the reader to donate to his charity, which is nice but not what I wanted to pay for and listen to for one hour.
#2 Too Long. The book is over 20 hours long and it seemed the first 9 hours were devoted to 401K plans which bored me senseless. The remaining 11 hours were better, but far from interesting.
#3 I do not trust the stock market which the majority of the book is about. Of the approximate 10 millionaires I know personally, all of them made their money in Real Estate or in owning their own small business and 0 from stocks. All of the people I know as well as myself who have invested in stocks have lost money.
#4 Mr. Robbins says not to trust a lot of Stock Brokers and Mutual fund information due to the fact that the information they provide can be manipulated, but than uses the same type of manipulations to prove that his techniques would provide greater profits and zero losses. It also seems that he may be, or will become an investment partner and profit in some of the investments he is pushing. There is a long disclaimer at the end of the book that should be a warning to all.
I sincerely doubt a large number of the 5 star reviewers that this book has received actually read or listened to the book.

Huge Sales pitch for nothing
What would have made MONEY Master the Game better?
Stop trying to sell me to read the book, I already bought it, nothing but empty promises and sales pitches with generalized stats. This book is aimed for people who makes less than 40k per year who will never breakthrough their financial struggle, but who want to see or taste some sort of light before their motivation is depleted and they have to start another one of these books. The only person who id going to make money from this book is Tony
Has MONEY Master the Game turned you off from other books in this genre?
Most likely
Would you be willing to try another one of Tony Robbins and Jeremy Bobb ’s performances?
No I will not, he is just scamming people giving false hope to make money, so he himself can become more wealthy. Huge infomercial in text. I can also give concepts of compound interest and how much money one can make from it. In theory everything sounds great
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from MONEY Master the Game?
All the sales pitches, stop trying to sell me the book, I already bought it get to the point. Stop with the foreshadow sale. "Ill show you ways the super rich are avoiding taxes, we will cover this in chapter 5.2." this is basically how the book is.
Any additional comments?
Waste of my credit. This is just like a fad diet book, with tons of promises and not real results. If you want a real book read "Third Circle Theory"

Extreemly Slow and Fluffy
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
May be high school students or young and inexperienced people with the money.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Get to the point... It is repetitive fluffy and not enough substance to learn. In the first chapter alone, I started to get headaches.
How could the performance have been better?
Not sure - Stop repeating the same stuff....
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment and annoying!!
Any additional comments?
I am surprised by 4.5 rate reviews along with Tony Robbins's reputation. It appears that this book was written for his financial wellbeing. It is very basic and common sense.
