あらすじ・解説
Khari, also known as Ri, is a young man living in a society that tries to make life hard for him. With his strong-minded ways, he digs himself out his hole and becomes self-made. After leaving his life of crime with his best friend, Davey, Khari pursues a life as a hip-hop artist overseas. But on his journey to stardom, he makes a promise to a woman that he loves, and he is destined to keep it.
Amber Lee is a young girl that sometimes feels like she has the world on her shoulders. Amber comes from an abusive home with her mother. But through all the abuse, she keeps her head in the books. Her mind is set on going off to school far away from home to study law. Before leaving for college, Amber has some hardships, temporarily leaving her in the arms of Khari.
