あらすじ・解説
Conan, the laird of Angus, Clan McDuff, and Una, the daughter of the laird of Caithness, Clan McGregor, have loved each other for many years, until a feud between the clans is unleashed and Una and Conan are forbidden to see each other.
Unwilling to give up the man she loves, Una and Conan meet at night, in secret. Or so they think. Boyd, the finest knight of Clan McGregor, is in love with Una, and he states his intentions to her father that she be betrothed to him. Una is disgusted by him and vows to only be with Conan.
But when Boyd follows her one night and sees her meeting Conan, a lethal fury is unleashed. As Boyd challenges Conan to a duel, he has deadly plans of which Conan, and Una, are unaware. For if Boyd cannot have Una, no one, including Conan, will ever have her, no matter the unthinkable acts to which Boyd will go to ensure the two lovers never see each other again.
