The Final Transaction is the opening arc of Helstalgia, a cyberpunk LitRPG series set inside a digital city where survival, reputation, and corporate control are written into the system itself.
Rexil steals a data fragment from the Flux Jackals, a netrunner faction with teeth in all the wrong places. The fragment has unknown origins, corrupted metadata, and one brutal problem: the system binds it to his inventory. He can’t drop it. He can’t delete it. The only way to get rid of it is to convince someone else to take it.
Now Rexil is running through Helstalgia’s neon streets, hunted by the faction he robbed and pulled deeper into a city where corporations shape the rules, own the infrastructure, and sell survival back to the players trapped inside.
