概要
Self-destructive. The worst thing that could happen to herself is continuing to be herself. Continuing to be where she is. The need to be released has found her. Taking steps forward is difficult, seeing the chaos in the world is difficult. And anytime she sees a glimmer of confidence, any crumb of thought that could be her savior the words of those closest to her ears refill her with doubt. Reminded of the worst in her, if there’s a best in her it’s unseen here. The how is up to perception but the goal remains the same that she can’t stay the same. It’s time to let go and go.
Goodbye, Hello is a short story which follows a woman protagonist and her internal struggles that have long began to manifest externally. She has slipped into a state of uncontrollable indifference and the pain suffered in this space has not been enough for her to volunteer for relocation. Then she feels a shift happening inside of her, forcing her to escape and she has no choice but to abide regardless of heading into the unknown and being unsure of what she is to face when she leaves the world she has always known but can no longer bear to live in.
