This is a Reiki manual that provides an overview of principles, practices, and techniques. Reiki is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan. This book includes Reiki's history and philosophy, emphasizing the concept of life force energy (known as "ki" in Japanese) that flows through all living beings. "Rei" represents God. Practitioners believe in whole heart, that by channeling this energy, they can promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. This is in conjunction with the power of prayer. Key sections of the manual include explanations of the process of hand positions during Reiki sessions. This can treat different parts of the body, emotions, grief and other walks of life.
The manual helps convey self healing instilling confidence to go on to conduct Reiki session for others. There are tips for developing one's practice, how to carry on with Reiki becoming part of their lives and a component for health and wellness. Practitioners can deepen their works with the studies of Reiki from this manual. For many years the pages were copied and placed in a folder for the classes and now it has come together to be a nicely bound beautiful book of love and care.
