In Flawed Follower Pastor Rene Schlaepfer travels in the footsteps of Simon Peter from Israel to Rome to learn how Jesus takes flawed misfits and transforms them into world changers. You will discover hope for imperfect, in-progress, well-intentioned but often bumbling people with a checkered past. Like Peter. And like you. Featuring 7 small group lessons, 7 discussion starter videos filmed on location in Israel - all available for free at flawedfollwer.com.

"Behind our performative masks and Sunday smiles, most of us feel inadequate, incompetent, and insecure about our discipleship to Jesus. But the life and failures of Peter offer us immense hope. As René reminds us, 'Jesus is never shocked, and welcomes us back, when we fall.' Flawed Follower is an inspiring, encouraging, and pragmatic guide for all those who find themselves struggling to measure up, exhausted trying to keep up, and on the brink of giving up." Jay Kim, Lead Pastor of WestGate Church, author of Listen Listen Speak and Analog Christian.
