The town is known for its local paper, annual fair, and a series of gruesome murders that occurred in decades past. Capero faithfully delivers the perspective of journalist-turned-detective Kirby Cornell and recounts the many mistakes she makes to keep her friends safe when the Crowhurst Killer returns. To the untrained ear, Capero's array of English accents may sound similar, but her ability to mimic both the crisp voices of posh Londonites and the slang of the rural born and bred will impress listeners from start to finish.
