あらすじ・解説
The Galveston Hurricane of 1900 left death and destruction in its wake, but young Elsie Drummond survived. In this volume of the Young Texans Series, we return to 1900, a time without effective hurricane tracking technology or warning systems. Elsie Drummond is celebrating her 11th birthday with friends when the storm approaches. As the hurricane gathers intensity, Elsie's mother escorts the party guests home and instructs the young girl to prepare for the onslaught of the storm. During the storm and in its aftermath, Elsie discovers talents and a tenacity she didn't know she possessed.
