このコンテンツについて

A shattered man. A corrupt city. One last chance to make things right.

Forensic accounting investigator Sam Halloran is barely holding on after a brutal case in Guatemala. Doubting his purpose and his future, he throws himself into a new investigation inside Chicago Public Schools—expecting routine fraud. What he finds is anything but.

A network of political greed, mob pressure, and buried secrets closes in around him. Chicago’s power players don’t just chew people up—they erase them.

Catherine Jennings makes things even more complicated. Once his student. Briefly his lover. Now tied directly to the company at the center of Sam’s investigation. Their connection is dangerous… and impossible to ignore.

As Sam’s team digs deeper, duty and desire collide. Haunted by the wreckage of his past and the shadow of his father, he must confront the investigation he’s avoided his entire life: himself.

When betrayal turns deadly, Sam must decide how far he’ll go for justice—and what he’s willing to lose to find it.

Inspired by real events, Echoes of Deceit is the gripping final chapter of The Sam Halloran Trilogy.
