Missy Maxwell Worton
A precious Ethiopian girl in peril...an American adoptive family in pursuit of her freedom...intervention from an unshakeable god.
With hurricane Sandy slamming into the East Coast, an epic spiritual storm ensues for Mark and Missy Worton, who courageously board the last plane to Ethiopia to rescue a six-year-old girl. Although Favor has already been declared their daughter, she is about to be wrongly placed into a foster care system that looks more like child slavery.
Once they land, the storm is far from over. The couple faces false accusations of illegal actions, fears of imprisonment, and threats to their family's safety. People call them crazy for staying, but in the midst of the turmoil, prayer warriors around the world gather and miracles begin to happen.
This unbelievable true story, told by a mother fiercely dedicated to God and her children, will keep you glued to your seat as you embark on this harrowing journey with the Wortons in Don't Mess with This Mama. Not only will you wonder how this family will escape dire circumstances, but you will be in awe of what God does time after time to protect his faithful children.
