The inspiration behind this book came from the Holy Spirit. From the fall of 2016 to today, I’ve been immersed in ministry as the administrator, custodian, worship leader, praise team singer, biblical studies teacher, and Sunday morning preacher. All while maintaining my home life duties, full, part-time jobs, hobbies, and crafts turned into side-gigs and businesses. I remember asking my husband how I was supposed to hear from God and perform my role in all of these positions effectively with all that was on my plate. It’s not my job or responsibility to try and fulfill these tasks alone. The Holy Spirit has shown me the root cause of how we, as human beings, are easily distracted, enticed, and driven to succeed in our personal careers and ministry growth. The solution to be a Doer of the Word, one must operate with the attributes of Jesus Christ.
